Position: Web Application Developer (Microsoft)

Responsibilities
• Web application programming using the full spectrum of Microsoft enterprise platform frameworks and application servers.
• Working on cross-functional teams for large integrated web applications.
• Work as part of an internal development team and help further build existing web applications
• Participate in all phases of the web application project, from requirements gathering to deployment (SDLC)
• Recognize the business objectives and constraints and plan accordingly
Required Experience
• 3+ years Professional C# / dotNet Web Development of large enterprise applications
• Experience developing web applications using the .Net 2.0 Framework. Exposure or direct experience with .Net 3.5 Framework.
• Experience using Microsoft Commerce Server in an enterprise environment
• Experience using Microsoft BizTalk Server, Microsoft Sharepoint Server and MOSS
• Exposure beyond Microsoft technologies into the realm of Java, Ruby, PHP, etc.
• Expert knowledge in complex data transformation and loading using SQL, stored procedures, triggers
• Demonstratable Object-oriented design principles
• JSON, XML, SOAP- and REST-based web services - the more the better
• You must be a great communicator (i.e. have good verbal and written skills)
• A long-standing interest about the Internet, pop culture, video games and technology trends
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis and willing to relocate to Blacksburg
